My name is Pyper, and I have so many nicknames that naming them would take forever. I live with my mom, Kristina, and my seven-year-old sister, Alana, in downtown Carmel. My dad, Dexter, lives in Panama with his wife and my half-sister, Kelsea. We are a very down-to-earth family; we go on hikes, and have a lot of family time. I love to go to the Renegade Art Festival in San Francisco with my family and Lily, its a wonderful experience. I highly encourage you to go. Lily, my best friend who I’ve known since I was 2, unfortunately goes to Monterey High School, with the rest of my friends. I know many people and can get along with many people because I’ve lived in many different environments. As a hobby I love to sing and create music. Its my passion. Writing songs and singing them to myself makes me happy, I'm currently learning how to play more instruments to go along with the songs. Aside from that, Im also on the Carmel swim team, I swam the 100 yd Butterfly stroke last year, it was a huge accomplishment for me.
What makes me unique is that I lived in Boquete, Panama for 6 years of my life. I left Carmel in the beginning of first grade. Living in a different country benefited me in many ways: I now speak fluent spanish, I know more about the world and don't take it for granted, and I have also made many friends in Panama. My life would be so different if I hadn't moved to Panama when I was a child. I wouldn't know what I know now. Living in a different country also gave me a taste of adventure, because my dad would always take me on little adventures of our own, and I love the taste. Now I can't wait to finish high school and take a year to travel, maybe take a year abroad a European country. I’ve met new people from different places all over the world. Like my friend, Jason, lives in Greece. I met him while living in Panama. All in all, living in Panama makes me unique because not many people get to experience what I have, an experience that will benefit me forever.
