Police: 9 Teens missing from Ranch, by This Just In: CNN
In New Mexico there is a ranch for troubled teens called “ Tierra Blanca Ranch”. On friday, 9 teens went missing, along with their supervisor Scott Chandler. However, the next day Chandler is back and insisting that all the teens are back home and safe. This is not true, for only 4 of the 9 teenage boys are actually safe at their homes. The search for the 5 teenagers is still ongoing, with the police releasing several amber alerts in New Mexico.
“Tierra Blanca Ranch” is a place where troubled kids are sent, therefore we cannot rely on these kids actually getting abducted. The police have to consider that the teens ran away under their own free will. With all the angry teens these days running away from their protected homes, it could  have been much easier for these 5 teenage boys to escape from Mr.Chandler, who seems a bit sketchy. I believe the police of this county or area are coming about this search all wrong, they need to start looking in areas that troubled teeangers would hide or run away to. For example, their friends houses, or abandoned homes around the ranch. If the police took this situation in a “runaway” and “abduction” way, I believe that they would find these kids sooner.
